My family originates from the Lasithi Plateau, and I grew up in Heraklion, Crete. I studied at the Athens University of Economics and Business, in the Department of Business Administration, as well as at the Faculty of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. I practised law, specialising in Commercial, Property and Inheritance Law. I maintained long-standing professional collaborations with Piraeus Bank S.A. and KALTEC CONSTRUCTION S.A. Together with my sister, I am actively involved in our family-owned company, ALBATROS S.A., which operates in the hospitality sector in Hersonissos, Crete. I currently serve as Second Vice President of the Heraklion Hotel Association. My personal interests include sport shooting, learning foreign languages and travelling. I have one daughter, who works as a lecturer at the University of Oxford.
