Grant, is a leader and statesman in the angel investing world, including having Chaired the prestigious TCA Venture Group (Tech Coast Angels). He has a stake in 130 startups. He serves as a formal advisor or board member of many of those, often as Chairman. He is Managing Partner of three venture studios: CVC Studio, Egnatia Ventures, & Hangar 75 Ventures. He has licensed multiple technology training initiatives in the Balkans and MENA region and is an active participant in investment groups like Keiretsu SEE and Faith Driven Investors. Alongside tech startups Grant also does real estate development and infrastructure projects in Eastern Europe. Albania plays a special role in his international involvement, where he has done charitable and business work since 1991, and now serves as President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Albania. He returned to the US in 2010 after studies at Wharton/UPenn followed by 19 years living in Europe. After a decade in the US, he now spends more than half of his time away from California, traveling often from his base in Albania to develop opportunities in the Balkans and Middle East, and speak at conferences on geopolitics and innovation. He also has an MA in Intercultural Studies at Fuller. Grant is regularly on the OC50 list of top influencers in Orange County, CA.
