Ulrich Kayinamura is the Chief Executive Officer of Agaciro Development Fund, Rwanda’s Sovereign Wealth Fund, where he leads the Fund’s strategy to preserve and grow national wealth through disciplined, long-term investments that deliver sustainable financial returns and contribute to Rwanda’s economic development. With extensive experience in investment management, corporate finance, and corporate governance, Ulrich has played an active role in advancing strategic investments, strengthening institutional investment capabilities, and supporting capital markets development. He is actively engaged in fostering partnerships and collaboration across Africa’s sovereign wealth funds and the broader global institutional investment community. Beyond his executive role, Ulrich serves on the boards of several institutions across key sectors of the economy, contributing expertise in investment strategy, corporate governance, and long-term value creation. Ulrich holds an MSc in Business Administration from the University of Groningen, Netherlands. He is a CFA Charterholder and a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM). He has completed the Senior Executive Program for Africa at Harvard Business School and holds the Certificate in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors (IoD), United Kingdom.
