Dejan Petrović was born in Bor on July 29, 1980. He graduated from the Technical Faculty in Bor in 2005 in the field of mineral resources exploitation. On December 30, 2014, he successfully defended his dissertation entitled " Development of algorithm for risk assessment of mining equipment operations based on fuzzy algebra" at the Faculty of Mining and Geology in Belgrade. Since 06.04.2015. Dejan Petrović is employed at the Technical Faculty in Bor University of Belgrade as a university lecturer with the current title of associate professor in the Department of Underground Exploitation. Research in the field of Mining, underground mining facilities, mining methods, dewatering systems, risk assessment of mining equipment failures, occupational injuries in mining, application of standards and regulations. Dejan Petrović is the author or co-author of 13 publications in international journals categorized according to the SCI list, more than 20 publications in national journals, more than 60 publications at conferences of international and national importance. In addition, for more than 10 years he has been involved in the development and technical control of project documentation for the mining industry.
