Chania Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Antonis Rokakis, as the elected President of the Chania Chamber of Commerce and Industry, represents the business community of the Chania Regional Unit. In addition, he has been elected Vice President of the Central Union of Chambers of Greece (KEEE). He also serves as the Managing Director of the Hellenic-Cypriot Chamber Network, a non-profit organization.
Today, following his many years of service as President of Chania City F.C.—the historic and leading football club of Chania—Antonis Rokakis continues to contribute his extensive experience in his current role as Vice President.
Antonis Rokakis was born in 1976 in Kastelli Kissamos, Chania, Crete. From an early age, he grew up immersed in the world of the sea and fishing through his family's historic business, founded in 1933 by his great-grandfather, who operated the company's first trawler.
As Chief Executive Officer, Antonis Rokakis has successfully combined innovation and an outward-looking business approach with the company's strong family traditions, creating the balanced growth model that continues to drive Crete Fish / Rokakis S.A.
With Crete as the starting point of its vision, Crete Fish / Rokakis S.A., a company specializing in the harvesting, processing, and trading of fresh and frozen seafood, has evolved into one of the fastest-growing enterprises in the fisheries sector in Southeastern Europe. At the heart of its operations are its state-of-the-art processing facility in Souda, Chania, and its privately owned logistics and distribution center in Aspropyrgos, Attica, operating in full compliance with internationally recognized HACCP and ISO 22000 food safety standards.
In parallel, the company operates a modern wholesale distribution center at the Central Markets and Fishery Organization (OKAA) in Rentis, serving the Ho.Re.Ca. sector (hotels, restaurants, and catering) as well as the retail market. In Kasteli, where it all began, the company continues to operate with its own fleet, collaborating with independent fishermen not only from the wider region of Crete, but from all across Greece.
Crete Fish / Rokakis S.A. is continuously expanding its export presence into new international markets across several continents, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, Dubai, New Zealand, and Canada. Its strategic growth focuses on premium fresh pelagic fish and carefully selected aquaculture products. In addition, the company imports selected seafood from exceptional fishing grounds in more than 30 countries worldwide, offering its customers a broad portfolio of high-quality products sourced from across the globe
