Colonel Dimitrios Zampakolas is a Senior Official at the National Cybersecurity Authority, Greece. He is a cybersecurity and digital transformation executive with extensive experience in cyber defence, information security, ICT governance and large-scale technology programmes. He has held senior leadership roles within the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, the Hellenic Air Force, the Ministry of National Defence and NATO environments. His professional background includes strategic cybersecurity planning, cyber operations, critical information infrastructure protection, operational resilience, incident response, digital transformation initiatives and the coordination of complex ICT and cybersecurity projects. He holds an MSc in Advanced Information Systems from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and has completed specialised training and certifications in cybersecurity, risk management, project management, IT service management and information security management systems, including ISC² Certified in Cybersecurity, ISO 27001, PMI-RMP, PRINCE2 and ITIL.
