Yiannis Christakos is a journalist and member of the Hellenic Journalists' Association and covers political reporting. He began his career in 1988 at "Eleftheros Typos" and has worked in newspapers, television, radio and magazines. In his long career, he has covered events in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Pakistan, Afghanistan, the Middle East, Albania and Georgia as a war correspondent. As a political editor, he has covered developments in and outside Greece for many years with missions to numerous Summits in Brussels and in capitals in Europe, America, Asia and Africa. He now works for Alter Ego Media S.A at the ΜEGA CHANNEL TΝ station and TO VIMA newspaper.
