Dr. Yann BRAEM is Consul general of France in Erbil since 2023. He holds a PhD in Geopolitics and has served in several high ranking positions as a specialist of the Middle East and Northern Africa region or crisis management, in Paris (Deputy head of North Africa Division, Special advisor to the Director of the Crisis Management center) but also abroad (Egypt, Cyprus).
