Piotr Zalewski is The Economist's Turkey correspondent. He joined the newspaper in 2016, after covering Turkey for TIME and the FT, among others. He previously worked as a spokesperson at the European Parliament and as head of the Europe program at the Center for European Relations in Warsaw.
