Stelios Loukides is President of the Hellenic Thoracic Society. He is a member of the European Respiratory Society [FERS 2018], the American Thoracic Society, EAACI, and a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians. He served the European Respiratory Society (ERS) as Secretary and later Chairman of the ERS Monitoring Airway Diseases Group from 9/10 to 9/16 respectively. He is an official member of the ERS College of Experts. He has served as Course Organizer of the European Diploma in Respiratory Medicine Preparation Committee, E-learning Resources Director, and member of the ERS Educational Council (2018–2021). From 9/23 to 9/26, he serves as ERS Programms Director.
