Former State Councilor

Born in Volos in 1956.

Graduate of the University of Athens Law School (1978).

Postgraduate studies in France (DEA in domestic public law, Paris I, 1980, DEA in Greek studies, Paris IV, 1981).

Rapporteur of the Council of State (1987), Associate Member (1995), Councilor (2010–2023).

He served in the Fourth Section and, from 2000 to 2023, in the Fifth Section.

From 1996 to 1998, he served as a référendaire at the Court of Justice of the European Communities (Office of the Advocate General G. Kosmas).

He has participated in conferences and published articles in anthologies, legal journals, and the press (traditional settlements, construction within and outside urban plans, annotated presentation of the case law of the Council of State, balancing of legal interests and sustainable development, etc.)

Member of the Archaeological Society of Athens and, since 2025, a member of its Board of Directors.
