Miodrag Poledica, Born on 17.09.1969 in Belgrade (Serbia). His professional title is Master of Science in Transport Engineering – Department of Logistics (Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering at the University of Belgrade). He has over 30 years of experience working on transport, infrastructure, and logistics projects. He worked in several private companies, as well as for a significant period in the Ministry of Construction, Transport, and Infrastructure of the Republic of Serbia, including 9 years as State Secretary. He has participated in and led more than 20 Working Groups and Commissions focused on creating strategic and legislative frameworks related to the development of transport infrastructure. He has been involved in implementing the largest infrastructure projects in the Republic of Serbia, including the construction of corridors, railway infrastructure, bridges, logistics centers, intermodal terminals, and projects for the expansion of border crossings, among others. He has participated in almost all bilateral agreements with neighboring countries (related to the promotion of combined transport, highway construction, the construction and reconstruction of bridges, joint border railway stations, etc.). He has experience in negotiations with international financial institutions, in negotiating the implementation of projects funded by EU funds, in concluding agreements based on bilateral arrangements between two countries, as well as in leading negotiations on the Republic of Serbia’s accession to the European Union (covering negotiation chapters on Transport Policy, Energy, and Trans-European Networks). He is currently employed at LLC “Putevi Srbije“, as of 2021 he has held the positions of Assistant Director and Director in the Sector for Strategy, Designing and Development.
