Stavros Andreadis was born in Thessaloniki. Ηe got his Degree in Civil Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and received his Master’s Degree from the Technical University of West Berlin. At a young age, he joined Sani S.A., a hospitality-focused family business engaged in developing a seaside resort on 1,000 acres of privately owned land in the Halkidiki peninsula. Following the passing of his father, Stavros Andreadis took, together with his brother Andreas, the management of the Sani S.A. Group of Companies. Through the years, Sani Resort grew into a leading holiday destination, receiving numerous international awards for its architecture and landscaping, quality of service and amenities, as well as commitment to protecting the environment. In 2015, the Group introduced its second brand – the premium, all-inclusive Ikos Resorts which was set up and thrived spectacularly in Greece, Spain, and Portugal. From the outset of his career, Stavros Andreadis has played an active role in various collective entities of the Hospitality and Tourism Sector, serving as the President of the Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises for eight consecutive years (20012008) and, consequently, being declared as an Honorary President of the Association. Stavros Andreadis, deeply interested in culture, co-founded the Cultural Society of Entrepreneurs of Northern Greece in 1995. As President, he led initiatives supporting Thessaloniki's cultural life and young artists across art fields. In 2013, Ernst & Young pronounced him “Greek Pioneer Entrepreneur of the Year”. In 2019, he was elected President of the Governing Council of the Theophano Foundation, the non-profit organization behind the annual Empress Theophano Prize, which is awarded to individuals and organizations who contribute to European collaboration and dissemination of the European ideal and values. Since 2022, Stavros Andreadis holds the position of honorary President of the Sani/Ikos Group.
