Ioannis Vovos is a Partner and Head of Transaction Services at PwC Greece, with
over 20 years of experience across Financial Due Diligence, Transaction support
services, Forensic Investigations, Disputes & Claims and Assurance services.
A Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA, ICAEW), he began his career in the UK and he
has built considerable experience in M&A execution across various industries. He
has led numerous high-profile financial due diligence and transaction advisory
projects for Private Equity and Corporate clients, covering the full M&A lifecycle.
Ioannis has extensive experience managing cross-border teams and complex
international deals.
He plays a key role in the PwC Greece Deals Platform, a cross-functional framework
that delivers integrated due diligence and value creation solutions to clients. A strong
advocate of Tech Enablement, Ioannis has championed the use of tools like Alteryx,
Power BI and GenAI, and contributes to global initiatives including the Connected
Deals Experience and Junction platforms.
Ioannis holds a Master’s in Accounting and Finance from the University of
Southampton, a Bachelor’s from University of Piraeus in Maritime studies and is a
member of SOEL and the Economic Chamber of Greece.
