Claire has a long standing working experience with the firm and is an expert in M&A, commercial and corporate law. Her practice focuses mainly on private M&A deals, Group restructurings and joint ventures both at a local and cross border level. Claire’s experience covers a variety of aspects of the M&A process, from strategy and due diligence (identifying key legal issues when buying or selling a company) to the drafting and negotiation of all related contracts and agreements. She has been involved in a number of important and complicated cross border as well as local deals involving the acquisition of target companies and business activities of various sizes and in various business fields, including companies operating in tightly regulated areas (cement and quarries of inert materials, gold mines, energy, foods, cosmetics, aviation, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, etc). Claire’s practice in commercial law matters extends to franchising, agency agreements and various types of products and services supply agreements. Claire also leads the aviation practice of the firm, and her expertise extends to the sale and purchase of aircraft, aircraft acquisition financing, aircraft operating and finance leasing etc, and she advises Greek and foreign clients who are active in the aviation sector.
