Tassos is a Partner at EY since 2005 and is leading EY-Parthenon in Greece; the largest in size and the strongest, in terms of brand awareness, corporate finance advisory practice in the country.

He also leads EY’s Strategy and Transactions Services in Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe & Central Asia (CESA) South Cluster and serves as EY’s Energy & Utilities Sector Leader in Greece.

In addition, he was EY Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe & Central Asia (CESA) SaT Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) sector Leader, while he also served as EY’s Valuation and Financial & Business Modelling Services Leader for Central & Southeast Europe, for over seven years.

Before joining EY in 2002, Tassos has served as Director of the financial advisory practice of a global audit and advisory firm, in which he also started his career as a financial advisor, in 1996.

Tassos holds an MSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Patras, Greece, and an MBA in Finance from the University of Stirling, UK.

He has received executive training, among others, at the Harvard Business School and INSEAD.

He is an elected Member of the Board of Directors of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EVEA).

He has over 25 years of financial advisory experience in various areas, including Mergers & Acquisitions, NPL transactions, company, loans and intangible assets valuations, financial and business modelling, corporate strategy & business planning, economic studies, etc., with emphasis on the banking, telecommunications, energy, infrastructure, and consumer products sectors.

In addition to his role at EY, Tassos advises Greek small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups, in the context of his cooperation with the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV), EVEA and Endeavor Greece.

For several years, Tassos was also a lecturer on M&A valuations at the University of Piraeus’s Banking & Finance postgraduate program.
