Ms. Rigakou is the General Counsel and Chief Legal, Regulatory & Compliance Officer at ATHEXGROUP, with a pivotal role in reforming the Group’s legal services and market regulations. She is a member of the ENEXGROUP companies’ BoDs, the Athens Stock Exchange Steering Committee, the Managing Committee of the Hellenic Union of Listed Companies, the Advisory Committee of HCMC, and the Advisory Board of CGI Greece. Moreover, she serves as the Group’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer. In March 2024, she was recognized among the top 20 Women Leaders of the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) and has been included in the GC Powerlist: Greece & Cyprus of Legal 500 (2022 to present). Just recently she has been included as a newcomer in the mononews list of the 100 most influential Greeks for 2024. With studies in law and finance, Smaragda has vast working experience in financial, European, and competition law, and of course, capital markets.
